Cultural Events

While in the German Bilingual program, your child will explore rich traditions and experience German culture first hand. These may include receiving a Schultüte on the first day of school or finding candies in their shoe for St. Nikolaustag. Family and community celebrations such as Oktoberfest and the Lantern Walk allow students to share cultural experiences beyond the immediate school community. Mini World Cup Soccer allows all the German bilingual elementary students to enjoy a day of sports and fun together.
